That's when the Antichrist, er Bush, will have ruled for 7 years and the time of tribulation will be over (according to the book of Revelations). That means we get one less year of Bush than we thought.

Some of the fundies believe that the Rapture will happen BEFORE the great tribulation, while other fundies believe that the Rapture will occur AFTER the great tribulation.

They call themselves either pre-trib or post-trib and they argue about which is right.

Also - the fundies believe that there will be some serious plagues on the unbelievers during the great tribulation - like boils, sores, locusts, frogs, etc, etc.

I haven't had too many debilitating sores and boils recently that made me want to curse God and die, but maybe I just have a high threshold for pain.

Damn it. Some of those people on Rapture Ready said it would happen 8/4. I guess that means I should call my brother and tell him to delay his trip here Friday morning by an hour. I told him yesterday that he could drive down in the morning because the rapture would help get rid of all that morning traffic. :evilgrin:

It really would be awesome if we could know ahead of time who is getting raptured so we could get dibs on their assets before hand. Just think about it--I'm sure there would be enough to pay off the national debt and still have enough over to enjoy ourselves for a significant amount of time.

Personally, all I want is a house by the ocean. And a boat. And a nice car. Just ordinary stuff like that. Oh, and this administration long gone. :rofl:
