15. And she has a phiony, annoying American accent
Heard her on Australia Radio National. Since she was talking to the home crowd, she reverted to full Aussie speak...But in America she tries so hard to soiund like an American, with disconcerting effect.

16. I can't name them.
It would be considered "calling them out," against DU rules.

I can say that my top 5 or so conservative idiots would come right from DLC DU ranks this week, though. Nominated for their concerted attacks on progressive Democrats.

19. Sorry that's lame
There are plenty of republicans out there that we could build a top 100 Conservative Idiot list.

And remember - John Kerry is a member of the DLC. Got a problem with him?

20. Not really.
Edited on Tue Aug-01-06 01:25 PM by LWolf
I'm not a fan, either. Kerry is, as far as I'm concerned, irrelevant. I've never been a fan, and never had anything against him, either. I donated. I called. I voted. In spite of my lack of enthusiasm, because it was important to do so. I heard what he had to say the day after. I accepted his words and closed the book on Kerry. If his constituents are happy with him, I'm happy for them and him.

At this point, every Republican could make the "idiots" list. That's not new. It's more a concern for me to note that there are Democrats or Democratic operatives who may also belong there. I don't think that noticing, and speaking, about a fault line within the party that can destroy it from within is "lame." I don't think that objecting to the vilifying of progressive Democrats, in office or in the voting ranks, is "lame."

You got a problem with that?

17. I nominate the DU Freepers....
Long term and recently arrived who are using the the current carnage to quickly build up their post count.
I would also nominate the RNC who can't keep them up to date with new talking points. The poor babies here are forced to abandon many threads too quickly due to being made look silly with stale debunked points.
I guess the repubs are just kept too busy with indictments and such.
