Had a thought about John McCain's son joining the military
Granted I don't want to rain on anyone's parade, but I truly think it is a politically motivated move because McCain wants to throw his hat in the ring for President.
However, it occurred to me tonight that with the state of the military, I wonder if McCain has either working or intuitive knowledge of an upcoming draft?
If this is the case, would definitely be a win-win for him.
Of course, this subject came up as my family was discussing the need to get passports...

1. That was my first thought too. Look what Hillary went through
to secure her future in politics, and Bill plays along. McCain's son may well be doing his dad a favor, potentially with the promise of reward should he perform it faithfully.

2. Why is your whole family attempting to get passports?
I'm just curious.

3. It's been something we have been discussing for awhile
Who knows? With the way things are going with DHS, it may become virtually impossible to obtain them in the future.
The conversation started when my daughter was talking about a friend of hers that is in the military. He doesn't want to go back to Iraq.
He is terrified.
He and his girlfriend obtained passports this week.
Our conversation started when we were discussing this.
