Does anyone else see a coincidence that * is in Miami
Edited on Mon Jul-31-06 09:27 PM by Opusnone
and Castro falls ill and hands over the presidency to his brother on the same day?

The local Fox affiliate lopped off the last twenty minutes of a good Hell's Kitchen for this "breaking news" and now we will have nothing but Castro, Castro, Castro for days.

Old bunnypants was here in town today (for what I don't care) and I find it strange that his prowess can reach across the Florida straits to smite his enemies.

You should see al thee people spilling into the streets of Little Havana. I wonder, will they go home if he dies?

1. No.
Castro is old and likely has been sick for some time. The Communist Government doesn't exactly let outsiders in and rarely tells the truth.

6. Fine
There are plenty of exilos here in this country (mostly illegal) who could go back and help.

If you can't tell i have a big problem with wet foot/dry foot policies,
and the racism against other islanders trying to get into this country and turned
back to situations just as bad as Cuba. Namely, Haitians.

4. Nah, just more of that bush luck. But he'l find a way to fuck it up
anyway, even if Castro kicks the bucket.

Want to get Castro out, or at least neutralize him as a troublesome guy (which he hasn't even been for twenty years)?

Lift the embargo. It's that fucking simple.

5.  I doubt our intelligence agencies have a clue what is happening in Cuba
I think the chimp was looking for support for the Jewish community on his stand on the Middle East.

7. the chimp isn't in miami looking for "jewish" support
he's raising money for congressional candidates.

you should realize that in spite of the chimp's support for israel, the jewish people still vote democratic.

you see, we are liberal and not the demons you make us out to be.

and BTW, there are not many jews in miami.

8. you missed my point, of course
I know Miami has nothing to do with elderly Jewish voters, but I trust Florida has allot to do with elections in 2006, and overall support of Israel.
