16. Be careful not to accuse anyone of anything.
Everyone knows that that sort of thing doesn't happen on DU and people who accuse other posters of it are Likudnik trolls throwing up a smokescreen of smears and hate. The poster was careful only to criticise the J-people homeland. There's a difference.

17. I know
that is why I asked for clarification. It does happen on DU, are closed minded people even here, alas. I thought it was saying all j-people in general, thus the request to clarify rather than accuse. Which I would not do. Sometimes the word does fit.

34. Isn't this just an abbreviation?
When African American issues are discussed on DU, people routinely use the abbreviation AAs. The post is deleted, so I can't see the context, but I don't understand why an abbreviation is anti-semitic.

9. Syria, and a Hezbollah-free Lebanon, are the goals
Edited on Mon Jul-31-06 09:01 PM by EVDebs
Israel will go right up to the Syrian border and rummage through Lebanon for Hezbollah; if Syria is seen as being a 'last refuge' for Hezbollah, Israel will enter ... and the regional war they expected in '06 as mentioned earlier on DU, will be on, see this earlier DU post:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=124&topic_id=89907

This also shows what was going on in the background with Syria's '05 withdrawal of troops from Lebanon

27. I would support Israel defending itself but this isn't about that.
Edited on Mon Jul-31-06 11:17 PM by saracat
This is about Israel being used by the Bush administration to futher its own agenda with Syria and Iran. The response to Hisbollah's attacks has not been proportional. And I believe the Cabal has their sticky fingers all over this. How is it to Israel's benefit to make sure everyone of its neighbors hates her? Israel is the one that is sticking her butt out ther and Bush is just sitting back, holding her coat as it were. And all this violence makes Israel look no better than us and that is not a good thing. Israel was manipulated into telling us to "F Off to take the onus off of us. I think even Condi was played for a sucker.

28. Just as the US was just defending itself from Iraqi WMD's
We bombed Iraq back to the stone ages and killed hundreds of thousands of Iraqi men, women and children.

Didn't get the WMD's.
Didn't get Osama.
Taliban bigger, badder and stronger than ever.

So goes Israel.

The killing spree cycle continues.
