Boehner Pledges To Privatize Social Security: ‘We’re Going to Get Serious
http://thinkprogress.org/2006/07/31/boehner-privatization/

Privitization plans championed by Boehner and others would sharply cut guaranteed benefits and are opposed by the overwhelming majority of Americans. Nevertheless, Boehner is just the latest prominent conservative to reaffirm his commitment to privatize Social Security in the months and years to come

What other legislation is desperately needed by the poor and middle-class in this country? Is there something else they can add this garbage to?

6. Better hurry !
You've only got 98 days....and then, you and your bunch won't be setting the agenda, and it looks like Congress is going to be very busy trying to correct the course of this Country. You know, investigations, indictments, impeachment, that sorta stuff.

11. Let's start with his pension then.
I say cut all registered Republicans from receiving SS since they don't like it that much. Of course they still have to pay FICA out of their paychecks.

12. let's privatize ALL the Washington pensions first
starting with all living presidents, past and future, on down. All pension monies that are still being laid out should be put into the sloppiest handled mutual fund out there.

And we'll keep it there for 50 years or so - just to test to see if privitization works. Then we will have a track record to go by.

13. LOL! I'm all for it!
Yes, we need a track record. However, England and Chile have already tried it and it's a failure so we know it doesn't work.
