Israel Strikes Road to Damascus on Syrian Border/Syria Closes Border

This is the road that refugees were following to get out of Lebanon. Don't know about injuries..sounds like they just did strikes.

CNN reporting this now.

Also two more UN Peacekeepers were struck in Lebanon...no more details.

UPDATE: Reuter's reporting Israeli Spokeperson saying this was done to stop Weapons that were being Smuggled from Syria.

Last night Frank Gaffney (NeoCon/PNAC) was on with Matthews looking very confindent and almost smirky when Matthews brought up the scenario of a widening war because Iraq was going so badly ..what if the terrorists took advantage of our weakness. Gaffney gave me the chills as he took a drink from a coffee mug and looked like he "winked" at Matthews after he finished. I kid you not...it was very creepy. :-(

3. What a crying shame

That is heartbreaking to hear. MSNBC said that the strikes were at the border crossing forcing Syria to close down the crossing. So now what happens when one of these strikes enters Syria? What if Syria retaliates from being hit? What will the world reaction be?

This is madness, sheer madness. Those poor people have no way out of there.
