Fuck Israel, fuck Egypt, fuck all other nations that want loans, aid, and bombs, let em' get their own.

Fuck bombs and guns and troops all over the world spreading Roman democracy, fuck that, help the sick, help the poor, let's clean up our own back yard before we meddle in world affairs.

We have SO MUCH money, the poor could use a break. We have so many great minds, let's use them to help AMERICA, and fuck everybody else.

Think about it: An end to hunger, an end to homelessness, an end to lack of health care access.

Maybe if we lived in the world where people like Martin Luther King and Robert F. Kennedy lived, it would've happened already, but as it stands, John Edward's notion is as far away as the moon.

If you'd simply said fuck foreign aid for military purposes that would be one thing, but American provides piteously little foreign aid as a percentage of GDP. Do you really mean fuck foreign aid that goes to help control the AIDs epidemic or aids in famine relief?

4. Foreign aid is a very small percentage of the federal budget

Get rid of it all, and you won't even make a small dent in what is needed for health care. Now the war, on the other hand, is another matter. That is sucking dry hundred$ of billion$ a year.

is next to nothing in the federal budget.

If you wonder why we have no national health program, a crumbling infrastructure and crappy schools, look to our "defense" and "black"(military) budgets for the military/industrial complex Eisenhower warned us against.

We are bankrupting ourselves as did the late, great Soviet Union. By early next year, we shall account for more than half the military spending in the world, and most of the other spending is being done by allies against whom we shall never go to war.

9. I agree that foreign military aid is money ill spent.

Not to mention the "domestic" defense budget. If we spent most of that money on helping people--here & abroad--there would be plenty go around.

Aiding those abroad is good foreign policy. Wanting to deny them puts you in the category of "mean people."
