A question: How many Hezbollah are in Lebanon and how many ....?
....have been killed? Is it possible to kill them all? Or is the goal to wipe out the infrastructure they use? And do they need the "infrastructure"? Is this going to make Israel safer if they don't "wipe out" all the Hezbollah? Or is this going to create a similar situation in Lebanon that we have created in Iraq? Any predictions for the outcome and how it will affect Israel in the future?

1. from a post on an Iranian blog
"... Hizbollah is the entire South Lebanon and the entire South Lebanon is Hizbollah. You can not break Hizbollah for they are indigenous. If you wish to uproot them as the despicable Zionist entity has claimed it wishes to do, it must committ genocide on the scale of 1.5 million people. And since this is their adopted goal, there is no way for them to emerge victorious."

3. Hezbollah grew out of Israel's last invasion of Lebanon.
Suppose they kill all of Hezbollah? Do you really think there will be peace in the Middle East? Do you think there will be survivors in Lebanon and throughout the Arab, Muslim, and most of the rest of the world who will be outraged at Israel's actions? Do you think some of these people will form a new version of Hezbollah?

Israel has only multiplied the numbers of its enemies. So, the long-term effect for Israel is not good.
