If Israel is targeting and taking out Hizbollah rockets why are they
increasing? Perhaps Israel is targeting too many civilian targets and not enough Hizbollah targets?

3. Not at all. The implication-actually the accusation-
was that Israel is intentially targeting civilians.

8. Refugees bombed as they flee to coast
link

More than a dozen vehicles of fleeing civilians have been hit by Israeli artillery or warplanes, leaving tens of thousands of refugees too scared to leave overwhelmed cities such as Tyre.

9. That's regrettable, but
it doesn't mean that it was intentional. Just as a person who takes hostages is legally responsible for the deaths of those hostages, though they may be unintentioally killed by police in an attempt to free them, Hezbollah, by imbedding itself amongst the Lebanese civilians, has made this tragedy inevitable and bears the responsibility for these unintentional deaths.

12. Oh, that's why the U.N. blames both sides, then, huh?
And says that Israel's actions are a violation of international law?

And police don't take out entire city blocks or level the buildings in which hostage takers are hidden. So that's a shitty analogy.

13. i bomb innocent civilians ALL THE TIME without realizing it
i'll just be minding my own business, which happens to be in the US interest, and all of a sudden -- kaBAM -- hundreds of dead civilians.

i can relate.

6. Seems like a valid question.
I had that question - Israel says that they've taken out half of Hizbollah's rockets, yet there's no abatement at all in the rocket attacks on Haifa. Maybe Israel's air force isn't doing as well as they say in hitting Hizbollah targets.

11. Yea, I'll order a jumbo size box of
 with this post. Actually, I'll order an second box of

Please, the OP hasn't said a word in response to anything for over an hour.

I'm not even saying I disagree.

However, if that's not a sign this was intended to ignite a huge flame war (as if we haven't seen enough of these), I don't know is.
