This Judge Pickering on CSPAN WJ now is the one that
the RR holds forth as a desirable SC appointment should another position on the High Court open up?

2. Yup....Cross-burnin' Charlie
Besides ruling in favor of cross-burning, the racist shithead also lied to the Senate about his days with the Mississippi Sovereignty Commission....

8. His son is a U. S. Rep from Mississippi and
would have been the leading republican candidate to succeed trent lott if he did not seek reelection. Its quite amazing how the pickerings try to sanitize their lives for public exhibition.

9. If you recall....
When this bozo Charlie was being pimped for his judgheship by the GOP, they were actually trying to pass him off as a civil rights LEADER. And he's yet another example of the GOP Congress not saying "boo" about perjury when a Republican lies openly in their faces under oath.

10. More Irony
The truth about themselves makes them incredibly attractive to their base so why deny? Its like conservatives fighting every effort that is made to make alito out to be a conservative making conservative decisions. Obviously there is intense shame being a conservative.

11. Exactly so.....
Pickering's whole appeal was that he was a bigoted piece of shit...which is why the bigoted pieces of shit backed him. But of course, he had to hide that from decent Americans.

12. I just listened to him again
and I'm SO glad he didn't get in. When he said the problems with the supreme court nominations were because of a culture war I waited to see if he'd lay out both sides and then talk about how the differing views affect the process today. But, noooo, instead he got all heated up about the church being kept out of the gov't. Every once in awhile he'd say something almost reasonable but then he'd slip into that old-time Southern Conservative rhetoric and democrat bashing.
