Go Condi!
I know you can do it. The whole world is counting on you and the pressure is big, greater than you've ever faced. But you are an AmeriCAN, and you do represent the American people.

Lookit, there you are, a great example of the fact that in America, regardless of race or gender, one can rise to the challenge and win!

So end the death of the innocents in Israel and Lebanon. Stop the violence before it goes on another day. Show the world that when America speaks, people listen.

Tell the world America wants the violence to end.

And work your ass off to make it so.

5. She's been to Beirut already
I guess the Israelis held off on the bombing while she was there?

She's special, then, 25,000 Americans were there when Israel started the bombing of Beirut.

3. Aw, heck....I thought you were telling her to go. Like now. I'll help
her pack. Good bye, we'll have a going away party later. We'll send you your watch (and Medal of Freedom). Just go. Please. Pretty please. For the love of god, GO.

And good luck in finding a country that will have you.

4. I'm with you. As much as I can't stand her or this admin,
I would love for her to succeed, this issue is that important.

Not that I think she will, but I can still hope she will.

6. It is her big chance
Will she fail? Other administrations won the peace. I wonder if she has in in her?

If she can do it, think of the possibilities.

9. Condi's already failed - no cease-fire agreement in sight
That woman is absolutely useless - she is no diplomat. An absolute disgrace.

The fighting is expected to go on at least another week, yet she claims to have "humanitarian concerns", which is complete BS. If that's the attitude of this Administration, then tax money was wasted sending her to the Middle East. Anybody who truly has humanitarian concerns would be all in favor of brokering a peace agreement.

Not this bunch. No siree bobtail. They're more interested in seeing upheaval and bloodshed. It's to their benefit, as well as the corporations they answer to.

12. Success for Rice is not the same as "success" as we see it
When Bush, Inc. wins- we lose.

Success for Bush or Cheney or Rummy or Negroponte or Perle or any of those other creeps always means bad, bad news for the rest of us. Anything they do that might even remotely look like it is for the good of the world is strictly for show. We can never, ever succeed or move forward with any of this cancerous bunch running things.

15. The end of violence...
...and harm to the innocents is worth any price we may have to temporarily pay.

Besides, a success for our brother and sisters, does not equate into success for bushco.

16. I agree- if one life is saved, it is good. Stop it now.
But Bush, Inc. is not in business to save lives and I don't trust them one bit. Whatever they are up to will cause more harm in the long run, to be sure.

10. are you delusional or what ?
Condi speaks cease-fire because the US administration starts to understand that the situation is getting worse and worse. The Israeli are meeting a lot of resistance and the US/Israeli tandem is isolated internationally.
They are playing bad cop (Bolton), good cop (Condi).

Or do you mean that "she has seen the light" ? In such case she should resign and talk out.

13. No
I am well aware of her history and the asses she works with.

I am just at the point of helping them finding their way to end the violence and the harm to the innocents.

To motivate the PTB to move their sorry asses we need to begin using all available means. Faint praise drooped around Condi's neck is what my OP was about.

I understand how one might take it differently.
