In the clinical world its good versus evil but in the real world its pain, destruction, sadness. Bombs do not seperate the innocent ones from the bad guys. All are targets when the bombs go off. Far too many look at the targets--the villians, the buildings, the roads, ports as a check list of success. But for every building hiding a terrorist there could also be a family or many familes just trying to exist like the rest of us. For every bomb that explodes destruction follows. A generation violated by the weapons of war will never be the same again and that fear or hate or distrust will follow future generations. For every building that housed jobs means, for years, many will struggle for survival--if they make it that far. Children will grow into adulthood remembering the wailing sirens rather then the sounds a child should be remembering. They will have rubble to climb on rather then parks to play in. These victims will not forget..and sadly this promotes the cycle of war to continue. While each side savors their victories the true victims have nothing to celebrate.
