MSNBC about to cover Bush's "touchy-feely" episode with Merkel
On something called "The Most." Looks like a horrible show, but this particular segment could be fun.

Starting now, 3:00 pm

7. If Bush would have done the same thing to Tony Blair or to
Putin, would it have been sexual harassment?

13. If it is unwanted, inappropriate touching, yes, it is sexual harassment
Edited on Fri Jul-21-06 03:00 PM by Spazito
Sexual harassment is not limited to one gender over another, it is about power not sex regardless of the genders involved.

10. Is that true? Wow!

ABC ran a piece last night on Nightline that didn't excuse Bush for being a boorish, immature, and dim-witted lout so much as it gave various reasons why what he did wasn't that big a deal. Johnson, they said, was a similarly arm-around-the-shoulder kind of guy who likewise didn't shy away from blue language.

He's an affectionate man of the people who doesn't shun from physical contact, they argued. In that regard, they sort of likened him to Clinton, and they showed that famous clip of Bill greeting Monica in the crowd.

They made a deliberate point of contrasting Bush with Nixon, his most obvious philosophical predecessor. The intent, it seemed, was to make Bush seem more like the most recent beloved Democratic President than the wanton criminal whom he most resembles.

Tut tut, sez ABC. From the pictures, it actually looks like she was smiling when Bush massaged her shoulders.

Ah, yes. The liberal media at work.

If I grabbed a female coworker the way Bush grabbed Chancellor Merkel, I'd be fired before I got as far as her shoulderblades.

8. The MOST is an effort to involve the online community in TV
What it does is look at the stories that people click on "THE MOST" (hence, the show title, how clever, titter, titter, hee hee) while surfing the net. This includes videos, articles, pictures, games, what have you.

It's still in the shakedown phase, but it has potential.

9. A Chief in the Navy
doing the same thing to a subordinate Sailor would have his career topped off at that moment and that most likely would be the least of his problems. No doubt the same applies to the other services.

If only "conservatives" served in the military instead of hanging out at the chickenhawk coop they could enter into this conversation and know what the fuck I'm talking about. Its like limbaugh spewing forth his expert opinion about military operations and tactics.
