Dog Dies at Pet Exorcism by Trainer
http://www.wptv.com/News/071806_WestBocaFamilySaysDogDiedatHandsofTrainer.cfm

Lisa Bernstein picked up her new German Shepherd dog at the Tri-County Humane Society Tuesday.

A new pet but certainly not a replacement for the German Shepherd dog named Ringo she lost earlier this week.

"Heartbroken isn't even the word, people who don't have dogs don't understand. This was like a child to me, I was his mommy," said Bernstein.

Sunday night a dog trainer who worked at Petco in West Boca offered to train rambunctious Ringo in the Bernstein's home rather than at the canine education classes at the pet store.

"She called it an exorcism she said she was going to take out all the bad endorphins that made him hyper," said Bernstein.

Ringo

Trainer claims Ringo was treated badly by owners. You can read trainer's account at sidebar of story.

2. So sad.
If the dog really was aggressive and unsocialized because of neglect by the owners, it seems really strange that the Humane Society would allow them to adopt another dog.

I wonder what the truth really is.

4. I read the article, but there are a lot of unanswered questions. I
don't think this is the whole story. Maybe it will come out with the necropsy.

5. here's the truth, this stupid fool wanted ringo back and got another
dog to soon.

Also sounds like the trainer was unqualified and moonlighting.

This is a classic case of dumb meets dumber, you decide who is who.

the only victim in all this was the poor animal.

9. Demonic cats
Hey, I had one, too. His name was Lucifer...he was the cat from hell.

But we loved him anyhow.

8. Poor little animal. Exorcists should confine themselves to the White House
where there really are demons to exorcise.
