George and his ilk are "pro-birth", not "pro-life". Their view of "life" is so narrow; it focuses solely on embryo's and fetuses. Once a baby is born, though, forget about it. They don't want to fund research into diseases and illnes. They don't want to provide assistance for poor families. Babies to them are nothing more than punishment -- epecially for women -- who dared to have sex. Oh, you ask, what about women who are victims of rape or incest? I know, I know....but that doesn't matter to those people either. After all, the woman must have "asked" for it.

These people make my head spin, and piss me off beyond words. :grr:
