At times like this, it's easy to get caught up in the politics of a conflict. Who shot first? Who is more responsible? Such questions are important ones to be sure (the latter, more so than the former). But it's important in a war that we remember the PEOPLE who are suffering; the Israelis, the Lebanese, and the Palestinians.

The IsraelisLet's not forget the Israeli civilians who are being killed as well; it is true that thus far there are far more Lebanese civilian deaths (300+) than Israeli civilian deaths (10-20); but death isn't something that you can quantify for those who have lost a loved one. Have any of you seen yesterday's NBC report that captured the death of a Haifa man in front of his wife? It's quite searing, and very heartbreaking.
