of humanitarian crisis where neocons try and teach "lack of empathy" right there in the middle of it?
New policies are news. In the past.. people would get the bill after they were saved. These days.. neocons seem to love to disrupt the flow of rescue events.. with pretty much anything petty and anything other than the flow of serious adult responce to helping out your people.
They must feel rescues of any sort are a kind of evil thing..that must reinforce something bad in the minds of Americans... cross boundary empathy? Connections to the world outside your own narrow group? Walking the walk? Wanting to help others? ... something in "helping people in crisis" really irks them. To no end.
