Photo of Lebanese killed by Israeli chemical weapons
Edited on Wed Jul-19-06 01:01 AM by Dancing_Dave

Lebanese President Lahoud accused Israel of using internationally banned chemical weapons on Lebanese citizens. As you can see, he did not make this up!

The Bush Administration has used similar chemical weapons against Iraqi citizens in Falluja, Iraq.

Lebanon Accuses Israel of Using Internationally Prohibited Weapons Against Civilians
President Emile Lahoud accused Israel on Sunday of using banned weapons against Lebanese civilians in its military offensive against the country.
Lahoud said Israeli forces have fired "phosphorus incendiary bombs, which are a blatant violation of international laws, ...against Lebanese civilians."

He called on the United Nations to help "deter Israel from using destructive weapons which violate human rights and the United Nations charter."

In an extraordinary meeting earlier Sunday, the Lebanese government also accused Israel of using banned weapons against Lebanese civilians.

"We are facing a real annihilation carried out by Israel," Information Minister Ghazi Aridi told reporters after the cabinet meeting.

"Israel is using internationally prohibited weapons against civilians," he said.

Military sources told Agence France Presse that Israel had used phosphorus incendiary bombs and implosion bombs, which suck up the air and collapse buildings.(AFP)

More physical evidence about this should be come available soon...but the picture I found certainly does provide some evidence of what these Lebanese leaders are saying. It looks very like some pictures from the infamous Falluja "shake and bake" operation.

2. Napalm and White Phosphorus, you mean?
The "shake and bake" operations over Fallujah were using such weapons on the city below.

4. I think this is White Phosphorous.
President Lahoud believes he has evidence that's what it is, I'll probably find some more specific physical evidence in the next few days.

Israel gets most of it's weapons from the U.S., it's no surprise they'd be using the same stuff that was used on people in Falluja.
