Chimpy uses his razor-like repartee to get in last word on Putin...
SNIP

While Bush had promised not to lecture Putin publicly on human and political rights, the two presidents exchanged pointed comments on the state of democracy in Russia.

"I talked about my desire to promote institutional change in parts of the world like Iraq where there's a free press and free religion, and I told him that a lot of people in our country would hope that Russia would do the same thing," Bush said.

Putin replied: "We certainly would not want to have the same kind of democracy as they have in Iraq, I can tell you quite honestly."

"Just wait," Bush said after Putin's remarks were translated into English.

8. Honestly. I don't get it. What does "just wait" mean?
Is it some sort of veiled threat? Someone please explain.

10. I think he means that if Putin just waits, he'll see how wonderful Iraq
will turn out. :eyes: Either that or he plans on punching him in the head later.

9. Bush is in way over his head....
He is not skilled at critical thinking or negotiating, among other things. His going to these summits accomplishes nothing but making him look even more like a fool to the rest of the world. What an embarrassment he is.

14. Give Bush a break on the pig, would ya?
He read in a spider web that it was "some pig" and that it was "terrific."

17. Truly amazing
What is even more amazing is that Bush really is as stupid as he seems:

“You eight hours? Me too. Russia’s a big country and you’re a big country. Takes him eight hours to fly home. Not Coke, diet Coke. ... Russia’s big and so is China. Yo Blair, what’re you doing? Are you leaving,” Bush said.

Yo Blair? And this guy has his finger on the button? We're doomed.
