3. I understand but bombing would be messy and excessively deadly
and knocking out every big dish or whatever they ar called seems a tall task. I was thinking there might be a way to jam transmissions on a wide scale or something like that.

but it's infinitely more efficient to take out cell towers and power stations with airstrikes...

There are cell phone jammers of all sorts out there. That discounts the use of ordinance to do the same thing...
