Justice Department Lawyer To Congress: ‘The President Is Always Right’
The Senate Judiciary Committee yesterday heard testimony from Steven Bradbury, head of the Justice Department’s office of legal counsel. When questioned by Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-VT) on whether the President’s interpretation of the Hamdan case was right or wrong, Bradbury replied, “The President is always right.” Watch it: http://thinkprogress.org/2006/07/12/president-always-right/

LEAHY: The president has said very specifically, and he’s said it to our European allies, he’s waiting for the Supreme Court decision to tell him whether or not he was supposed to close Guantanamo or not. After, he said it upheld his position on Guantanamo, and in fact it said neither. Where did he get that impression? The President’s not a lawyer, you are, the Justice Department advised him. Did you give him such a cockamamie idea or what?

3. I watched this last night on C-Span,
and was amazed by what he said. This guy is in the position to advise the POTUS, and he makes a remark like this. Amazing simply amazing, our dear leader is never wrong.

9. I was reading that the federal government prefers Fundies
they are centered on the Bible and its teaching, while they are not working they are zoned
into their religious commitments with no objectivity towards their work, they are saving
America for Jesus by carrying out all Bush directives to the letter.

7. So, why did Nixon have to resign? Why was Clinton
in so much trouble over something that was no one's business (but he lied about which was in its way much worse than the sex)?

Or is it just THIS pResident that's always right?

What a douche bag.
