Now that he's energized us and spoken truth to power, let's try to fulfill the agenda he outlined.

An Independant Counsel - NOW!

Defeat judicial nominations that would skew our system of checks and balances (i.e. Alito)

Whistleblower protections for people who speak out about an abusive executive branch that hides under a tarp they label "National Security".

A reclamation of a legislative branch that truly represents the will of the people.

I think that is the correct order. I don't think Al was saying wait for the elections to start the fight. He did say that all of these things could and should be issues, but he is definitely NOT one of the "keep your powder dry" Dems.

I honor him. I will follow his lead.

1. so will I...but be warned-this will require a strong will
judging by the early response from Republicans-this is going to be very ugly.

3. Thanks! That's comprehensive and I missed some
My point is just that he drew a road map for us. I don't want to just look at the map - I want to gas-up, jump in the car and begin the drive. How many Democratic leaders are going to get on the bus with this? Is Howard Dean on board with the plan?
