3. Saw this earlier on the lying ass news. Nothing to see there.
Just WWIII. It's insignificant in the scheme of things.

7. Well, Japan DID announce it's pulling out of Iraq
Maybe North Korea is a phantom menace to be used as a pretext to remind our good friends in Japan of certain global realities. Dance, prime minister!

Typcial complement of ships in the Seventh Fleet
1-2 aircraft carriers
3-5 Aegis guided-missile cruisers
5-10 destroyers and frigates
4-5 fast attack submarines
1 Command and control ship (USS Blue Ridge)
4-8 Amphibious transport and landing ships
4-6 Logistics and support ships
1 Submarine tender
2 Mine Countermeasures Ships
1 Salvage Ship

14. create the problem...
then the solution.

I've also read some on Kim and the fact that he seeks unilateral talks with Bush and how this would be a bad move on our part because of Iran. Kim obviously knows this as well as the fact that he is protected by China and Russia.
But I think your take on it is very likely. This is all still a bit confusing to me....alot confusing actually.

15. "a bad move on our part because of Iran"
as in we would have to then have bilateral talks leading to normalization of relations with the Iranians. This would be a bad thing because it might actually resolve the crisis in our relations with the Iranians and the Koreans?
