Joe Lieberman under vicious attacks from liberal websites like DailyKos and others. An Internet assault. Most democrats he (Brooks) talks to, say privately "they despise those people", and don't want to get in their cross hairs.

I think there's some truth to that - I'm sure Joe Lieberman is one of those democrats (in his case DINO) who absolutely despise websites we love.

He's peevish, dishonest, and most often wrong in his assumptions. I enjoy the LTTE in the NYTimes following his editorials: the readers usually skewer his faulty reasoning and mean-spiritedness quite easily, and it's fun reading.

On the other hand, though, don't assume DK is on all of our lists of "websites we love."
