Gore front page CNN.com, major story MSNBC, Zero on FOX

Fox news has no mention of Gore's speech today. CNN and MSNBC giving it major coverage now but FOXnews.com? Nothing. Big suprise!

2. I heard it being discussed on FOX

I just flipped it on briefly. Hume and I believe Krauthammer were discussing it. Also a woman who I didn't recognize. It was very bad and I turned it off quickly. They were basically saying that Gore was over the top.

He was saying that Bush had probably overreached, but then kept coming back to slam Gore and other Dems.

Why don't we talk about the overreaching? After all, the Republicans are in charge, so switching the subject to the Dems is like talking about the Seattle Mariners (my team, by the way) when discussing the World Series.

The Dems don't have enough power to abuse it, at least not for the last few years, and yet this abuse by Bush has been occurring for four years.

Krauthammer could have been credible, but he just couldn't get up the nerve.

7. PBS News Hour didn't even mention the speech

The news summary was all about the new women heads of state in Liberia and Chile. I shot off an email to them about this. NBC news did have a short clip of Gore saying that the Bush wiretaps were illegal. My husband has downloaded and speech and will be making CDs for us to distribute. Frankly, I think this is the only way to get out the message. I don't trust MSM to do anything but lick Bush's boots.

PBS/Newshour is sensitive to a lot of heat -- they will feel the shame so please get your friends to write them too. After CNN's serious coverage of President Gore (heh heh), PBS already knows how bad they look. They're bent for sure, but they're the easiest to put on notice!
