Place your bets - What will Tweety have to say?
Will he cover the Gore speech? Or will the wench Nora be on and accuse guests of being Democrats? Will it be mentioned or ignored?

1. If the Tweetster is present, he'll address it.
But there will be some kind of Chimp apologist around for "balance."

2. It will be downplayed
It will be portrayed as empty rhetoric
Unsubstantiated
Sour grapes
etc etc

That is my guess.

17. I remember Matthews commenting on Al Gore's concession speech
Edited on Mon Jan-16-06 05:10 PM by NYCGirl
(not the first one, which he "unconceeded" but the final one in December) and he commented on Gore's "overwhelming masculinity" or something like that. I remember being shocked at the comment, but I also agreed with it. Can't find a link!

Edited to add: The phrase was "sublime masculinity" — thank you to Dave29 for mentioning it in his post below.

If It's Monday.....
It must be repub Tweety day. He'll probably call out Gore and perhaps have a repub reporter or 2 to back him up.

Don't expect to see him supporting anything Gore said in any real way. But then again, since I don't bother to watch his show, I know I won't be missing anything anyways.

To those of you with plenty of time to waste, go ahead and spend an hour boosting his ratings, and then you can spend another hour coming here to complain about what he said, and how he never gives support to the Democrats.

Why anybody from these boards bothers to watch ANY MSM news show, with the exception of Keith Olbermann, is beyond me. They are all a complete waste of time and sanity.

9. Latelely, it's been "why can't those democrats be vocal about
what they want". Oops, Tweets, can't lie about that anymore. You guys didn't want to cover the speech, but now you have to. We are the media now. Bwhahahahaha. I am democrat, hear me roar.

I think he's gonna ignore Gore's speech. He's waiting to see which way the wind blows before he takes which side.

14. I think he is supposed to cover torture today. I got the impression
that he is talking about that most of the show. I don't think he will mention it at all today. He will see what kind of press Al gets, then he might say something tomorrow. If Al doesn't get any coverage, he won't even speak about it.

29. Not only did Tweety say little on Monday,
his rationale for going after Hillary's "plantation" comment, also yesterday, was because it was a slow news day. No more Hardball for me, no CNN or MSNBC. These people are so dishonest, what they have to say is lies, not news.
