DRUDGE CANNED OUTRAGE OF THE DAY:Superman isn't american anymore
Edited on Fri Jun-30-06 05:04 PM by Adenoid_Hynkel
Looks like we have another war on christmas-style distraction, huge blaring over-the-top headline and all...
I'm surprised the freepers haven't pegged him as an illegal immigrant from Krypton, coming here to steal jobs from the Daily Planet that were meant for real americans

2. Ignore that little pissant's site and just perhaps Uncle KKKarl Rove
will stop FAXing Matty his B.S. Talking Point posts? :puke:

I will NOT click on that Rove Whore's website, i.e., directly from KKKarls lips to Drudge's ear. :grr:

5. Superman just fights the criminals that Americans don't want to
You give a Kryptonian five bucks, and he'll circle the Earth backwards and turn back time for you.

8. Superman is a Liberal. (Link that contradicts Drude's nonsense)
Edited on Fri Jun-30-06 06:06 PM by Dr Fate
Superman never kills and always stands up for the little guy.

Can Superman & "his" writers really help it if thugs like Bush & Drudge distorted what "American Way" means???

Drudge is garbage. If he wants a Conservative superhero, he can have some cynical, murdering psycho like The Punisher- but leave good 'ol Supes outta this.

Originally, Superman was blatantly Liberal:

Bio: Superman's first adventures find him up against a fair number of gangland types, but also evil businessmen, crooked weapons dealers, graft-happy politicians, negligent mine operators, and other persecutors of the little guy.

Memorable quote: Mine-company exec from Action Comics #3: "There are no safety hazards in my mine. But if there were—What of it? I'm a businessman, not a humanitarian!"

....Lex Luthor has mutated from an evil scientist to an arch-capitalist over the decades, so the basic sentiment remains. But the blatantly leftist political sympathies of Superman creators Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster have faded as Superman has become less of a rage-filled activist and more of a benevolent caretaker.

10. Most of the top comic names were/are Liberal- Lee, Kirby, Moore, Morrison
Edited on Fri Jun-30-06 06:11 PM by Dr Fate
Not to mention Segal & Schuster-Superman's creators.

Drudge can stuff it- I'll bet the dude who wrote that garbage never even read a comic.
