President George W. Bush is scheduled to be in town for about three hours Friday evening to attend a fundraiser for Sen. Mike DeWine.

Bush is slated to arrive around 5 p.m. at Port Columbus International Airport for the private fundraiser at the Powell home of Randy and Sara Wilcox. He's scheduled to leave around 7:45 p.m., said White House spokesman Alex Conant.

Columbus motorists traveling on the north side of the city around 5 p.m. may experience some delays, said Tim Greenhalgh, spokesman for the Secret Service office in Columbus. Parts of Interstate 270 northbound will be blocked for an undetermined time as the president travels from the airport to the Wilcox residence.

I know Randy and Sara really well. They bought a piano from me a year ago, and I've been to their house many times.
