CSPAN Wash. Journal on bank spying issue: "Why did Bush leak Plame's name?
... and "The Bush administration only wants leaks when they want to do the leaking, otherwise they run around crying." One caller said.
The Rovian bullshit isn't working as well anymore.

3. Yes they are but to tell the truth I was sure they were doing this.
I swear Bush said they were tracking money as it was a way to find these people, and of course, I then thought well the terrorist will do their money some other way. I hardly know why every one is so up tight about it. I would think the banks in EU would do some thing to get us out of their business. I still think this is a matter of knowing what other countries are doing with their money and mostly EU as the Euro is moving up and places like China are starting to deal in it. This has nothing to do with terrorist but keeping big business in the know. Or that is my thinking on this.

4. All I know is
that after I gave sizeable donations to Kerry's campaign in 2004 and to MoveOn.org, my home phone started "clicking". After Election Day, it stopped. Hmmm ...

5. A few people who I know that contributed have said that...
It would come as no surprise to me if that's been the primary purpose of this "tracking" program.

6. Go back to the Neo-cons. They wanted us to be THE world power
It is a business thing that this war has just let big business use for its self. Once we lost USSR to keep the military in use we had to have some thing else. We are in more than 100 countries and no one wants to give up that power. EU and China have some of the power to eat that way. How any one thinks with 5 percent of the worlds pop. we can stay top dog is fooling them self, I think, any how. But really who wants to face that. Not the Far Right for sure. They think arms makes right. This whole mess is just blowback for how we sided with some pretty bad people in the Cold War. We were never very fair with the Middle East. It is hardly a great thing to tell these people we are doing it for their own good. You would think we would have seen that in Vietnam. People want to rule them self but that does not mean profits for us a lot of times. This is not new. Sending in the army to aid a business is old hat.
