is happening.... but remember, the weather is behaving just as it always has, perhaps in an alternate universe... perhaps.

2. Bush has changed his story (THERE'S a shock)
Now he says that he has admitted to the fact of global warming all along, but just isn't convinced that it's caused by human behavior.

4. You wouldn't expect him to accept any blame, even if it were for the whole
human race.
It is impossible for bu$h to admit that he could be an any way responsible for anything.

7. This is very ironic
And is quite in keeping with other events that seem to foreshadow. An example is when the old man's face fell off the mountain in one of the southern states. The U.S. would indeed "lose face" in the world.

Now we have a mini-Katrina in D.C. I don't watch the corporate news media much but I did see a photograph of cars in a parking garage in DC. They were all crowded together. Apparently the floods had swept the cars all to one spot. I also saw a clip of flooding in apartment buildings, with sewage rolling out of the plumbing fixtures.

8. Katrina

Rush raises the possibility that perhaps many in the black population didn't have cars in which to flee for economic reasons.

"Well, why is that? Why can't they afford them? What is it about New Orleans that doesn't pay? It's a 67% black population. They have lots of black-run businesses. Why is this they don't pay well down there?"

9. That was "The Old Man of the Mountain" in New Hampshire.
And we're one of the, uhh, "more Northern" states. ;-)
