My FIRST criteria for any Democrat thinking about candidacy:
When you lose the election,

and there is debate as to legitimacy of the results,

will you stick it out till the very end?

until EVERY SINGLE VOTE HAS BEEN REVIEWED

and EVERY COURT OF LAW EXHAUSTED

and there is a CLEAR WINNER?

regardless of whatever graceful exit YOU think you are making by bowing out early?

(So far there is only one person out there that i trust will do this. Because we watched him.)

3. I am with you on that
And we have had enough experience to know who will and who will not fight it out.
But November will tell the tail. And I fully expect the rethugs to retain control by hook or by crook. But it is what we do then that will set the situation for the next decade at least.

4. It all boils down to resources.
Most people who run a campaign use everything that they have available. That's what pissed me off about Kerry. He had the resources, and didn't use them.

5. it's true, but if they have heart and it is worth it, i would donate more
i would have given another _____ bucks to Kerry or Busby, if they looked like they were willing to fight.

And you are right about Kerry... my sentiments exactly
