Iced marijuana tea to debut in British health food shops!
:)

http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20060626/od_afp/britainhealthfood_060626181645

LONDON (AFP) - British health food shops will soon be offering customers iced cannabis tea, its Swiss distributor said.

Sold under the label "C-Ice Swiss Cannabis Ice Tea", the beverage contains five percent of hemp flower syrup and a tiny (0.0015 percent) quantity of THC, the active ingredient of marijuana.

Any ingredient that could put it in the drugs category has been removed and the tea will not lead to dependency.

<snip>

The product was launched in Switzerland in 2003 and is already available in Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, Portugal and Spain.

2. It will NEVER been seen here. Not ever. Those oafs in
office (and broadcast radio) might be pervs and drunks and closet junkies but they sure as hell ain't gonna let the public get anywhere near the stuff.

11. Spot O 'Tea
Hell! If things get much worse here it may just about time to ask the Queen mother if she would be willing to accept her wayward colonist's back into the fold. Just Kidding! But a visit might well be in order especially if they upped the THC content just a tad bit.

5. It would never fly here, unfortunately
There are too many medicinal qualities in such things and the holy drug companies forbid anything that actually benefits mankind.

10. "Cannabis tea" is a marketing ploy. This is basically a hemp
product. Negligible amounts of THC. And yes, it probably could be sold here under existing laws regarding hemp products. You just couldn't grow the hemp to make it here. Silly.

As Bill Maher would say, if you're using marijuana for the taste, you're not doing it right. :P

15. Not a fan of the taste of hemp.
Even if the hemp had a high concentration of THC, you wouldn't feel anything in a tea or even eating it straight up. THC is fat - not water - soluble.

16. Good advice for making good pot tea.
Edited on Tue Jun-27-06 04:26 PM by DeBunk
Don't brew dope in water. Brew it in the milk. And, don't use low fat milk.

THC is fat soluble, not water soluble.

Also, when you bake brownies. Cook the dope in the butter for a few minutes then strain off the butter. The THC will be in the butter and the leaf and stems won't be stuck in your teeth (use leaf, it's better then bud for brownies).

I come from a short line of long haired freaks. :-)
