Obviously Kerry and MUrtha have both been dragged over the coals on Iraq withdrawal by the corporate media and the RW message machine that propels itself into the mainstream.
They both have been taking constant hits for the last few weeks - many of them posted here at DU.

Pop quiz: Who was the first senator to speak against the Democrats and their exit plan in last week's big Senate debate on Iraq? If you guessed Joe Lieberman, you're right.
Every time leaders like Russ Feingold stand up and fight, Joe Lieberman undermines them with Republican talking points. It's infuriating.

But many women are not giving Clinton the reflexive support that might be expected, saying they'd rather support a man who shares their ideological views than a woman who shares their biological makeup. Code Pink's Benjamin, for instance, likes Sen. Russ Feingold, the Wisconsin Democrat who authored legislation calling for the withdrawal of nearly all U.S. troops from Iraq by July 2007.
