How both the RW and the left media distort news for their own agenda -

Obviously Kerry and MUrtha have both been dragged over the coals on Iraq withdrawal by the corporate media and the RW message machine that propels itself into the mainstream.

They both have been taking constant hits for the last few weeks - many of them posted here at DU.

So what does the left do to acknowledge how hard the hits those two have been taking over this issue?

Yesterday I received a MoveOn letter to support Lamont - fine - but, in taking advantage of the real anger towards the crap Lieberman pulled last week, they wrote this:

Then we have this article on 2008 where the author claims Feingold WROTE the bill. Kerry WROTE the bill, and Feingold came on after and pushed for the later July 2007 date for his support.

i dont think the left actually changes the facts like the White House has been caught doing or that O'Liely makes a living doing..

all i have to do is turn on the TV and and go to any channel and get Reich Wings outright lies..

2. I didn't distort it - The fact is that Kerry wrote that bill and both he

and MUrtha have taken the preponderance of HITS from the corporate media for it, and then left folks come along and name Russ for credit and in the MoveOn ad implies Russ was the one standing up and taking the hits, too. Completely ignoring the two Dems who stuck their necks out the furthest.

Care to tell me what facts i distorted?

The right gets to take all the hits it can at Kerry and Murtha, and the left credits the one guy not being targeted?

3. i just dont see the Democrats deliberately "Distorting" anything...

and i dont see the Republicans anywhere near any truth.. they are pathological liars, or troops dying because of lies proves the pathological prefix..

sorry there is NO COMPARISON.. and one example is NOT PROOF of any kind

our country has been overthrown by Fascists NeoCons and the Constitution has been shredded, and our voting system is under the the control of the opposition,.. that is what i see as important...

4. We have very FEW left voices - they need to be accurate and fair -

you don't like the 2 examples I am citing, but, they go directly to the ONE story that got distorted.

I think both were unfair towards Kerry and Murtha over the story they get beat up on, while creditting Feingold as the writer of the bill and who hasn't been taking any hits at all for it.

Show me what I got wrong and use my actual post.

is it the TV Media doing the distorting.. if so, it is the 4 NeoCon Corporations doing the distorting not the Democratic Party.. i haven't heard anything on AAR about the subject, which is only Left wing media i have access to here in Rural TN
