I didn't know Ted Olsen was 'good friends' with David Boies
Just another WTF moment? The lawyer for the Bush Campaign and the lawyer for the Gore Campaign for the 2000 Recount are such good buddies, that Olson hosted his 'good friend's' book signing. I know outside of the courtroom, that legal professionals probably mix it up all the time, but in this case it seems inappropriate to say the least. I guess they're all in it only for the money. Go figure? I would have thought Boies would have better taste in friends. :puke:

David Boies Book Party
Courting Justice

Ted Olson, Margaret Carlson and George and Trish Vradenburg hosted a book signing and reception at the Phillips Collection on November 30 for their friend David Boies in honor of his tremendously successful best seller, “Courting Justice.” Known for his landmark cases, “New York Yankees v. Major League Baseball,” “United States v. Microsoft” and “Bush v. Gore,” Boies’ work also gives readers a rare glimpse of the author’s boyhood in small-town Illinois, and adolescence on the streets of Compton, to his brief career as a cardshark, his lifelong fight with dyslexia and the lessons he learned in law school.

You know, the one about him ripping off clients by using 3rd party litigation support company (for document retention in big discovery cases) that he and his family had a secret interest in?

5. I always wonder how the Ragin Cajun and mary matlin can be married?
I know people from opposing parties can be married... but they are so enveloped with their parties. I can't imagine having matlin's rethug friends at my house.

7. At least their relationship is out in the open
and neither one is a practicing lawyer.

It would have been nice to know 6 years ago that the lawyers for the opposing teams were in bed together. Puts a bit of a different light on things.

8. Olson is another sex addict like Limpaugh. His ditsy wife, Barbara,
bragged about meeting Ted at the door naked for his birthday. It is amazing what these Fristians do but still throw stones at others.
