Republican mothers too damned stupid to raise a child?
Too stupid to teach their children that it is very impolite, to start talking when someone else is already talking! My democratic mom, taught me to wait my turn to speak, didn't yours?

To see a classic example of what I'm talking about, in action, watch Hardball and that stupid Morgan woman.

I hardly EVER watch Hardball, but I surfed past it and I heard this female Rove Parrot, attacking Al Sharpton and screaming to the top of her voice, like a total fool, so I stopped surfing and watched Al tear her a new one!

4. Looks like the Neocons helped her make the fool of herself.
She seemed fooled on all fronts! Part of the 30% backwash.

2. Yep
But then, manners in any form went out of the political equation with Newt Gingrich. I just wish the Democrats would get in the groove. Bullies don't deserve to be treated nicely.

3. Funny you mention that...
In 1990, Morgan resigned at KGO and moved to Seattle where her husband, Jack Swanson, had taken a job as General Manager for King AM & FM. While in Seattle, according to a report that aired in May 2000 on CBS News, she became addicted to gambling. "I felt totally comfortable behind a poker table," she told interviewer Troy Roberts. "I could just get high off the cards. ... On the credit cards, I probably ran up $ 25,000. ... And that doesn't count the cash that I was going through either." The gambling continued after she became pregnant, "I ended up going into labor early," she said. "Of course, I was in a terrible environment, smoke-filled room, hardly taking care of myself. Yeah, I was gambling right up until an hour before I gave birth." After her son was born, her gambling obsession led her to neglect the child, requiring an informal intervention by Child Protective Services. After counseling and sessions with Gamblers Anonymous, she says she was able to stop gambling in 1992, and in 1999 she became president of the California Council on Problem Gambling. She has not placed a bet in 13 years.

7. Just because a person has money, don't mean they aren't trash!
Her shoddy upbringing is reflected in her total disregard for any form of civility. She acts like a rabid animal of some kind, instead of a lady.

GOP "family values" is a laugh! Republican mothers must be very much like sea turtles with their young. Lay the egg, cover it up in sand and go on about their evil business without ever looking back to see if the little ones grow up right?

I just don't like it when she is in one of her moods where she talks over progressives, or ANYONE who criticizes Hillary Clinton.

10. I like her and she sees that sometimes you need to fight fire...
with fire.

It still doesn't make it right to act like that I know. And I don't ever do that. It embarrasses me if I speak out at the same time another person does, but politics has steadily regressed to this very uncivilized level.

8. All that's needed is a "dump button"... I wish shows would use them
If they are going to have a "talk-refute-repeat" format, they should have the decency to allow each person the opportunity to speak for the time alloted them..

This is what they teach the bush-bots at Interrupt & Insult Unuversity... They are taught to interrupt and burn the clock.. It's not only important to get their own message out..they MUST not allow the other side to get THEIR point across..

Shame on the hosts for encouraging that kind of "discourse".:puke:

16. How could a GOP father teach a kid anything good, period?
Edited on Mon Jun-26-06 05:49 PM by Hubert Flottz
The GOPer daddies are mostly hypocrites who lie, steal, cheat and start trouble that they can't finish. So you are right, it's not all the Mother's fault. I guess I think about my being taught about my manners, I think more of my Mom. My dad taught me a lot of good things too. We went fishing instead of out trying to steal and cheat. Dad busted my ass for doing the things republicans do.

18. Yes. Of Course. That is Why
Of course women who are Republicans are, by their very nature, too stupid to raise children. (Best Example: Barbara Bush).

This makes the point I made on another thread: Republicans should NOT be allowed to reproduce.

I believe that really is what the GOPers think about democrats.

Look how Rove, Cheney, Rush, and on and on and on...turned out! Hitler's Mom was a right winger too!

not be allowed to breed" with the breed crossed out and the word "BREATHE" over it. I think it's time to make another one.

If they interrupt and/or talk over you, tell them this: "Where did you learn your manners, reform school?"

28. I've actually seen a Dem told to "let him finish" when it was their turn!
Think it was done by Wolfie a few days back.

Bill Press was making a point (during his turn to speak, as moderated by Biltser) when the right wing freak started interrupting him. So Press cut the right winger off, and Wolf stopped Press, saying, "now, let him finish his point" and the right winger got really uppity, saying shit like "I listened to you, Bill"

29. I wish Bill Press had a regular spot on TV again.
He does a good job and he's very polite and easy going, but still gets his points across most of the time. Someone with brains don't need to scream and yell like a damned ape to make their case. That Morgan lady was just nuts!
