I Attended An Inconvenient Truth Screening w/Al Gore in the Theatre

Two things:

1. It was good to see Al's lectures w/out Annie Coulter, Rush Windbag, etc, to throw darts at him and what he was saying.

2. For the campaign speculators: upon signing in, we were given dog tags instead of theatre tickets. Said dogtags were also good to get us into a post-screening schmooze (I declined, way past my bed time.) I thought the dogtags were interesting: nothing to do with global warming, whatsoever, but great Al symbols/identifiers.

all this other 2008 election talk is just the RNC distraction tactic to sideline any talk about global warming. So far it has worked very well.

Gore's dogtags are symbols of the army of fighters against pollution and for energy conservation.

4. It hadn't occured to me ~election talk used to distract

from what he trying to accomplish here. That maybe a very valid point.
His movie isn't in my area yet. I will see it when it arrives.

7. I am very interested in Mr. Gore's political future

and I am not routinely briefed by the RNC. I get what you are saying, but I for one am not "distracted" by the possibility of a Gore campaign to the detriment of my concern for the environment. Sometimes on a good day I can even think of three things at the same time.
