We are no longer persons, we are numbers.
The 2,560 young men and women who died for Bush's war, just numbers. The vast sums of unemployed, mere numbers. The Iraqi dead, barely mentioned numbers. The voting base, numbers. The stock market, our minimum wages, our net worth, or gas prices, our gross national product, our national debt, our 300 million citizens, numbers on paper.

They don't see us as real living, breathing suffering and dying human beings out here in the world not inside the white house gates. They see us as food. Like vampires see people. Like leeches see fish, like tapeworms see our guts.

When mega governments and big business are in charge, people become cattle and commodities to be bought and sold. They lose their humanity in the eyes of the elite one tenth of a percent.

There are 300 million of us, and we are ruled by about 500 assholes. We need to use these numbers to our advantage, not theirs.

1. Got any ideas?
We need to find media people with enough guts to actually cover these numbers as people - not numbers.

They would have to be people who are brave enough to stand up to the Bush minions. But I'm sure there are some out there if they could just find backers.

Our democratic leaders need to get behind their base.

3. I know - it seems like there are just lots and lots of issues out
there. But no one seems to be getting behind them in any meaningful kind of way. I have really been wondering about that. I just don't get it.

We have lots of issues to use and no one seems to use them.

6. This should be our anthem
Feel like a Number

Words and music by bob seger

I take my card and I stand in line
To make a buck I work overtime
Dear sir letters keep coming in the mail
I work my back till its racked with pain
The boss cant even recall my name
I show up late and Im docked
It never fails
I feel like just another
Spoke in a great big wheel
Like a tiny blade of grass
In a great big field
To workers Im just another drone
To ma bell Im just another phone
Im just another statistic on a sheet
To teachers Im just another child
To irs Im just another file
Im just another consensus on the street
Gonna cruise out of this city
Head down to the sea
Gonna shout out at the ocean
Hey its me
And I feel like a number
Feel like a number
Feel like a stranger
A stranger in this land
I feel like a number
Im not a number
Im not a number
Dammit Im a man
I said Im a man

I like you idea, there is power in our Numbers and we should never forget it.

7. We have given rights & protections to artificial entities whose goals
do not include the things that human beings need: clean air & water, safe food, health care, education, the Commons. Their human minions (CEOs, BODs & most ‘public servants’) are traitors to our species.

Hmmmm, throw in some AI & you have a decent sci fi plot. ;)
