5. That has to surpass the total Americans killed on
911, many were from other countries, and soon it will surpass the total of all deaths on 911.

2. If the lesson of those dead is to wake up
to a peaceful century, to arrest bush, cheney, condi, rummy, bakerIII, blair, rove and the
unapproved UN asshole, to wake up tomorrow and storm the bastille to remove the tyrants.

The only shame is that they died to subvert the very people they believed they were
doing justice.

4. Bush should be happy
You're still trouncing the opposition.

Seriously though, every life is precious and my heart goes out to everyone who's life has been lost or destroyed (especially under false pretenses).

6. It reminds me of the frog in the boiling pot of water.
In "An Inconvenient Truth," Gore compares global warming to a frog in water that is slowly brought to a boil...if the temperature is increased gradually enough, the frog doesn't notice and just stays put.

If at the beginning of the Iraq war Americans were told that no WMD would be found, and the cost would be 2,517 lives losts and tens of thousands with serious, life-altering injuries, I wonder what the response would have been then?

But it's like the frog in the pot of water. Every day there are one or two more deaths, same old story, nothing changes.
