I have no idea what poker chips have in all this, but why can't people just enjoy life while they can?

4. I don't know which is scarier
That the DHS isn't really paying enough attention the large scale vulnerabilities of the Net

OR

Would it be scarier if they did?

These days I think we can assume the worst of both worlds.

5. Well one thing it would mean
Is that us greybeards would be getting big bucks for showing the youngsters how to operate typewriters and slide rules:shrug:

Seriously though, it would be a major pain, however it wouldn't be the end of the world. Lots and lots of records would be lost, which could be both a good and bad thing, depending on who you are. And gee, lots of this monitoring and surveillance that the alphabet agencies are engaged in would be impossible, which would definetly be a good thing.

Mankind would survive, and I doubt that it would be that much of a pain. After all, mankind got along fine without the ubiquitous computer chip in everything up until about twenty five years ago, I'm sure we could manage to carry on again.
