Does anyone think its time for a hurricane.
I like it better when I see CNN reporters out there blowing in the wind.

1. Well being from FL
It's hard for me to get enthusiastic about a hurricane. Even with flying reporters.

11. I'm in Florida too.. just making the point that they are grasping
at straws again to find news. I say put a camera in Iraq and show Amarica what it looks like to see blown up bodies and gunshots everyday... then we'd pull out of Iraq.

3. Snicker.
Yes, and the commentary makes about as much sense as what they're spewing now.

"Yes, it's really picking up out here, Tom!" (wind blowing chunks of debris). "And there's debris!"

What are they paid again?

4. I'd prefer a Zombie or a Long Island Iced Tea
But a Hurricane would do.

19. They are a special sale
When the lights blinking, blow jobs for (XX amount of money.) Nice salesmanship. Its my favorite watering hole in the quarter. And the view from the balcony is priceless. Come on down.

20. I do plan to be in Mississippi some time this fall
Pascagoula, for a Navy ship launching. The exact date is "Whenever Northrup-Grumman says it's done."

Perhaps we can get together and hoist a few.

22. Are you in the canoe club teammate?
I'm retired CPO headed to Millington in September for the Chief's Pinning Ceremony. I'm less than an hour from the French Quarter; keep in touch.

6. I have a pretty good sense of humor
but the eye of katrina went right over my house so to answer your question - NO! I like it better when the reporters are talking about the bumper crop of tomatoes in Plaquemines Parrish.

17. OMG
can you imagine if there were a hurricane now though, the MSM would self-destruct...they wouldn't know what to do with themselves.

I can see it now:

Rita Cosby reporting from the hurricane zone about the Miami 7 and the newest missing blonde white girl....the perfect tri-fecta...She'd have a stroke.

21. Please not in the next 2 weeks
Okay, this is pure selfishness - my mom, sister, my kids and I are taking a "chick-trip" (as mom calls it) to FL starting on Sunday. We need sun, sand, & FUN for my mom, who hasn't been able to go anywhere for several years because of Dad's poor health. Since he passed in Dec., she needs some cheer.
