I know it's just a number - but those numbers all have faces and dreams and families.

I don't want them forgotten.

2. Is it just my impression, or did the number really hold

just short of 2500 for several days - and now it is rushing past that marker as if it's trying to leave it behind.

Is sombody futzing with the numbers? And why would they do that if it is, indeed, "just a number"?

3. I don't know about that.

I pull my number off a non-governmental site so it shouldn't be affected.

I guess the next magic number is 3000. We seem to be moving along at a pretty good clip here. Seems to be between 5 and 10 a day.
