4. In this case, almost certainly bogus.
But others have reported that since UBL is the amir, an oath of fealty is appropriate. Not our custom--at least not for those of British descent for the last 500 years or so (I have no idea about other cultures).

But when Fahd died and whatsisface was put in his place in Sa'udi Arabia, every town had 'oath takers' set up so that Sa'udis could go and do the Muslim/Arab thing, which was to take an oath of loyalty to the new guy. Not strictly required for most workers (but public employees were especially anxious to go and pledge), but then again participation by most workers in the May Day parades also wasn't strictly required.

8. I don't know...
how to you say "shit" in arabic?...or did you mean some bullshit oath of allegiance that the bushbots came up with? I want to know how they knew that one of those arrested had taken said oath, did he have a laminated membership card?
