4. Wonder who the rocket scientist was who decided to put the
add there. On second thought, it could just be someone for good clean government doing the voter's a favor.

Report spoof on Delay on Delay's web site.
You know the one where Colbert sarcastically 'supports' Delay and that
'everyone's' out to get him!!

24. It's automated.
The website's ads are obviously inserted by keyword. I suppose the programmer never anticipated the possibility that "the advertiser" might be the subject of a criminal investigation when he wrote it.

7. rofl, brighten my day. I love this part of the article:
"Mr. Pwosecutor, I woulda told you I did the break and enter and stole a million dollars and jewels if you had only asked."

snip:

Taking the stand in his own defense, Safavian acknowledged helping Abramoff but denied that he was violating agency rules or breaking the law in doing so. He testified that he would have revealed his relationship with Abramoff if investigators had asked. Prosecutors described the golf trip as a reward for Safavian’s help. Safavian wrote Abramoff a check for $3,100 to pay for his share of the trip, but prosecutors said that sum understated his true costs by at least $14,000.

11. He got in a bit of trouble two weeks ago when his ad was on the obit page.
If you click on his ad it will take you to his "Lost in Zack Space" website. The link that was on the obit page was the picture of Zack and his Democratic friends. People around here were furious about it.

12. Just got this e-mail from Zack
Dear Friend,
Last week I had the opportunity to meet with a group of Senior Citizens to discuss Social Security. While I address the important issues facing seniors and working families, Bob Ney's campaign has been busy launching weapons of mass distraction.

Within the past weeks, Ney has shown his vulnerability with negative robocalls and by becoming one of the first House incumbents to launch an attack web site and even online advertisements to promote it!

With your immediate contribution of $250, $100, $50 or whatever you can afford TODAY, we will send a clear message to Bob Ney that we are tired of his misleading, negative attacks. He's attacking me and we won't let it stand.

http://contribute.zackspace.org

If Bob Ney spent more time working on behalf of the families of the 18th District and less time jetting off to play golf in Scotland with his friend, disgraced lobbyist Jack Abramoff, or gamble at a swank London casino he wouldn't have to resort to such misleading tactics.

Our campaign is facing a critical fundraising deadline on June 30th. With your contribution today, we will show Bob Ney and the Washington insiders that the heat is on. During the next 10 days my campaign web site will feature the top 10 reasons why we need a change in Washington.

Bob Ney is running scared. Help keep the heat on. Your contribution of $250, $100, $50 or whatever you can afford TODAY will ensure Ney's negative attacks will not go unanswered.

15. On a similar note, does anyone rememeber the AT&T mailing
during the whole wiretaps story? They sent out some bills/letters with this slogan on their envelop:

"Finally, a phone company did something you never thought they'd do. We listened."

An article on South Dakota's abortion law had Google ads for clothes hangers.

22. best Ney-related irony since "Cash Land"

Tuscarawas County Republican headquarters in Dover has, in light of the investigation of U.S. Rep. Bob Ney, R-Heath, an unfortunate neighbor.
