It's not even a holiday! Seems we only get thanked when something bad happens or it's a designated day for it. I'm one of evlbstrd's brothers and did not see combat either. I was re-called for Desert Storm, answered the call and was promptly stationed at Ft Polk, LA where I was diligent about protecting the Pegasus Lounge from Iraqi infiltration. Once again, thanx for the salute and return it with pride.

you put your nads on the line. I see the numbers and realize the true sacrifice you all make when you joined up. And I do appreciate it, always have and always will. Hopefully we can get the rest back home safe with their families, where they rightfully belong....

Yeah I felt kind of bad, I was called up twice for what the Navy is calling IA (Individual Augmentation Opportunities) which is basically taking over some of the jobs that the Marines and Army dont have the manpower for anymore. Fun times, not too much shooting.

6. There are a huge # of Vets at DU...Combat, Peace Time, from every

branch of the Service. I am willign to bet that we have FAR more Vets than any RW site.



Seems like the RW sites are stuffed w/Chickenhawks...
