1. This is an incident I've never heard of before (just heard on CNN).
I wonder how many more similar crimes are waiting in the wings to be exposed?

5. I imagine there are more that will never be made public...
...and more yet to come.

When will these detainee deaths and abuse get legally tied/traced back to the pentagon?

2. Well, they are going after these cases much more vigilently now...
For example, during the entire Vietnam war 95 Army regulars and 27 Marines were convicted on murder charges. That seems very low when you compare boots on the ground and casualty reports. Already to date about a dozen have been convicted on similar charges in Iraq with three dozen awaiting charges and numerous other investigations in progress.

6. They all lead back to the Pentagon & the WH
via the civilian "interrogators" that kept surfacing in the previous detainee abuse & murder cases. Of course, civilians wear no name tapes and are not in the chain of command, so they slither away from any accountability. :grr:

7. They must have had overwhelming evidence
to bring charges so quickly.

8. I think so too
It makes me think that a whistle blower may have made videos or taken pics.
