Residents have not been urged to leave Ramadi by US or Iraqi troops
US-led forces push into Iraq city
US and Iraqi troops have pushed further into the western Iraqi city of Ramadi.

Monday, 19 June 2006 -- Helicopter gunships provided air cover as troops and armoured vehicles pushed into the east of the city, one of the strongholds of the insurgency.

US military officials have insisted that the move is not the beginning of a major assault on the city.
An eyewitness, reported by the Reuters news agency, said tanks were being used in the operations in Ramadi.

Reports say that people in Ramadi have been leaving for some days. Reuters quotes one resident as saying that the water and electricity have been cut off in his area of the city.

Residents have not been urged to leave the city by US or Iraqi troops.

RAMADI, Iraq, June 19 (Reuters) - Helicopters flew over the Iraqi town of Ramadi and warplanes could be heard screaming overhead as U.S. troops hunted down insurgents in the rebel stronghold on Monday, a Reuters witness said.

4. Have You Ever Played The Board Game "Risk"?.......
When you take a country in this game - if you don't leave enough armies on the country - it can easily be retaken by your opponents.

How many times have we gone into Ramadi and taken that city - only to retreat and let it be retaken by the so called 'insurgents'.

If * and Rummy really want to win this war - they are not being very smart in how they execute it.
