Iraq attacks kill 43...
BAGHDAD (Reuters) - A series of bombs killed at least 43 people in and near Baghdad on Saturday, police said, in one of the bloodiest days in Iraq since a U.S. military air strike killed Abu Musab al-Zarqawi 10 days ago.

2. Earth to Bush: They don't want us there. Murtha is right.
Nothing will shake the neocon nightmare as their core belief, and I fear Iran is next. October?

4. Maliki launches attack Wednesday- 50,000 Iraqi troops backed by 7,000 U.S.
troops to pile pressure on al Qaeda in Iraq.

But the sweep, mounted one day after U.S. President George W. Bush made a surprise visit to Baghdad to bolster Maliki's month-old government, has failed to stop attacks.
