1. And how about the death penalty for the mother??
Pro-life dichotomy. And while they are at it, how bout wrapping gays in the American Flag and then burning it. And reinstituting slavery. the base will love it.

15. And serious jail time for the father....
Really, the doctor and mother both get the death penalty, and the father can get 20 years to life for consiracy, aiding and abetting, and For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge.

Throw the fathers in jail for abortion too, and we'll see how long this nonsense lasts.

4. this could only be applied if the dr. was performing an
illegal operation.... So far it is not illegal everywhere. Hopefully other people will begin staying out of other people's lives. Its a right to privacy between a woman and her dr., this has no right amongst people with no clue.

5. Well, I support jail for Bush* and all his lying, thieving, bastard
advisors. If there is any justice, we will see that happen-- surrounded by caring, compassionate doctors (and others) who care about women as human beings and not as some impotent, insecure man's property.

6. This one's a peach. Here's what else he's said-
snip>
"A review of years of articles reveals a formidable thinker with a powerful sense of what he considers right and wrong. As Zinsmeister sees it, racial profiling by the police makes sense; the military, if anything, treats terrorist suspects too gently; and casual sex has led to wrecked cities, violence and 'endless human misery.' In a 'soft, often amoral, and self-indulgent age,' he warned, some children 'will be ruined without a whip hand,' and he assured that 'things generally go better with God.' . . .
...
And he traces the family breakdown, at least in part, to one of his favorite topics: Sex. (Also see his April 2006 article on the topic.)

About sex, he tells Wattenberg: "It's something -- it's intense; it's fire. It drives people to insanity. . . . People fall in love with prostitutes. People kill prostitutes. All kinds of things happen in the heat of sexual passion, so my point is because it's fire it needs to be governed and treated with respect and treated carefully."

And, he says: "An awful lot of what we've been talking about earlier in this show, you know, family structure and crime rates and poverty levels grow directly out of sexual choices."

10. Sounds like a puritan.

With an unhealthy obsession about sex. Most likely stemming from an inability to get laid, even with a pocketful of twenties in an area known to be frequented by working women. It would seem to be the only explanation for the perverse nature of this person.

edit: Do you think he considers us to be members of that "morally repugnant" underclass he mentions?

12. If by 'peach', you mean 'serial killer', then I agree.
I think you highlighted the wrong bit of that paragraph, Rose.

About sex, he tells Wattenberg: "It's something -- it's intense; it's fire.
It drives people to insanity. . . .
People fall in love with prostitutes.
People kill prostitutes.
All kinds of things happen in the heat of sexual passion,

so my point is because it's fire it needs to be governed and
treated with respect and treated carefully."

A man totally OBSESSED with sex,
who regards the human sex drive as an evil, demonic force,
who puts THOSE 4 statements in that order?

Serial killer.

14. Karl Elitistmeister
"What the establishment media covering Iraq have utterly failed to make clear today is this central reality: With the exception of periodic flare-ups in isolated corners, our struggle in Iraq as warfare is over."

- Karl Zinsmeister, column, June, 2005

Karl Zinsmeister, out with a new interview in which he talks about sex ' and its role in perpetuating what he has previously described as a "morally repugnant" underclass.

"People in Washington are morally repugnant, cheating, shifty human beings."

-- Karl Zinsmeister, Bush's new domestic policy adviser

Excluding Karl, of course. :eyes:

Dime to a dollar, you can find some Zinsmeister quotes on "liberal elitists", too.

11. We should push them on this
"Do you believe providers of abortions should be sent to jail? What about the women? Taken to the logical conclusion, shouldn't the women be in jail, too?"

Call them on it. Put them on the defensive. Make them talk about their real vision of what a post end of Roe world should look like.

Stop ignoring these loonies. They are spokemen for the GOP and need to have their views highlighted in a big way. Make them talk. Should scare the crap out of most of the country who supports a woman's right to choose.

22. Lots of Pubs feel this way! A lawyer who worked for the same Co. as
I did was running for a judgeship in Tx. He was an OK person, but a lousy atty IMO. He was supposed to be our Corp. Counsel, but every time I asked him to wrote up an agreement or something else just as simple, he would say "What do YOU want it to say?" GRRRRR

Anyway, he was all for bombing abortion clinics, throwing Dr's in prison, and jailing the mother if necessary! Fortunately, he lost the race!

Finally did quit the Co. and went into private practice with his brother.
