"Stay the course"...down the wrong road?
Obviously, the Republicans think "stay the course" is a winning slogan. I think the Democrats should adopt an old Turkish proverb for their rebuttal... "No matter how far you have gone down the WRONG road......TURN BACK." ( America is definitely on the "wrong road" in Iraq...and President Bush put us there.)

2. It is positively numbing.....
how similar this is to the corner we painted ourselves into in Vietnam. This same simplistic argument went on for YEARS!! It is a sign that the purveyors of the Iraq Invasion know there is no more hope of "winning" anything.
